I want to say a HUGE Heartfelt "THANK YOU" to all the amazing and wonderful people who heard the incredible call out from  AK on American Kabuki and KP on Kauilapele (my awesome brothers in spirit) on behalf of myself and my family. Your incredible donations have made a ginormous difference to my family, and by the end of this week, I will have a new computer..... hopefully one that is kid and cat proof, lol!

But besides the donations in $, it was the energetic exchange that I received from so many people that moved me to tears several times in the past 48 hours.  Your spirals of energy and love were received and I return them to you all 10 fold.

I'm posting this article below about the "Batman Call" because this guy gives probably one of the most succinct run downs of "How the New Financial System and major political changes"  are suppose to roll out.  We're going to use this as a basis to look at the Grand Contrast that is about to play out in front of our eyes.

And oh what a grand contrast it is going to be!!!!

.... Done?  Good. Now let's talk about the reality of the situation.

Anyone who has been following the NESARA news, RV news, New Financial System news, White knights/dragons/hats news, lightworker news, well, you are all well aware of the expectations of what is going to happen. Many of you have been reading and researching these topics for years and years- even decades.  Some of you are very new to all of this, but have packed in a whole lot of knowledge in a short amount of time.  Long timer or short timer doesn't matter, what matters is what  you KNOW.

What you are about to see play out in front of you will be one of the grandest contrasts ever seen and you are all keenly capable of analyzing every aspect of this event(s) and SEEing every facet of the contrast with extreme clarity.

When "they" bring the new financial system online, make the "RV" live, and start "the announcements", lets get together and ask the big questions:

 If there is a new financial system, one that works in complete fairness and equality, in complete transparency.....

...... Are the same banks going to be in charge of your money- the banks that destroyed the global economy? Banks owned by the same corrupt people? Are the same ol' banks exchanging your Dinar and Dong and making money off that exchange?  Are the Banks then going to try to convince you to invest with them? To buy their insurance products and investment products?


If there are Prosperity Packages for those who signed up for them....

..... but only for those that knew about it in advance or who happened to know someone who is involved in the distribution of funds from the various Trust Funds, how is that "Fair and equitable" to all the people on this planet?   If one person gets a PP worth 10 million, and another person gets a cheque back for all the taxes they've paid..... is that equitable?  If one person is given a massive amount of money through the St. Germaine Trust fund and another person gets maybe $2000 bucks back from illegally stolen income taxes because he's just 19 years old and hasn't been able to hold down a full time job for longer than a few months because of high unemployment in his area..... is that "EQUAL"?


If there is a new  "interim" Government...

..... yet it is made up of the same ol' politicians that have been lying and stealing and cheating for years and years, how is this a change for the better?


If there are new Laws...

..... what if they are enforced by the same thugs/authorities we have now?


What if

You had no say in the new financial system?
...or the new money?
......or the new government set up?
.........or the new laws?

What if

You were told that  it's a whole new system
.....but the same CEOs were still making millions
.......but the same mega corporations we're still making vaccines, GMOs, fast food, toxic chemicals
..........but the oil wells were still pumping and the gas companies fracking, chemtrails still cris-crossing the sky?

What if you KNOW that NESARA must be fully announced and enacted, and all the information and history of what has happened over the past 100 years or so and all the lies that have been told and all the corruption that has stolen our health, wealth, value and vitality is to be exposed...... and yet all you get from the Main Stream Media announcements is a watered down pile of half truths that don't really explain anything.  What if NESARA isn't announced?  What if there is no announcement that explains the 13th Amendment?   What if they white wash the corruption of Wall Street and Congress with more half truths and demi-lies.  What if they don't announce the arrests that took place on Wall street last week? (and no, 4600 people were NOT arrested last week, but there was a LOT of arrests none the less)....

YOU are smart and well educated on all of these topics.  YOU KNOW what should happen.

Watch, Listen, Discern.

As all of the "New" systems roll out you will have a huge opportunity to really see all the contrast in front of you.  Not just you who KNOW, but even those people who have no knowledge or understanding of the slavery system they have been a part of, even they will see the Glaring Lies and Missing Information very clearly for what it is.

Watch this so called "New Financial System" roll out and you will very clearly see who the wizards are behind the curtain and you will very clearly see that the new "saviours" are just the same old Cabal wearing a different mask.  You will see very very Clearly WHO is trying to make you a slave again.

You are Free.

They are about to learn that NO ONE can take away YOUR freedom, regardless of all the schemes and bullshit they are trying to pull. All their actions and words are nothing more that a wonderful magnifying glass for us to look through so we can see their petty "king of the castle" games for what they really are.

Re-indexing as well will take place– For example a home that costs $200K will cost $20K when this takes place. * this is not to be taken literally as reindexing, ie: removing the hyper inflation that has happened over the last 4 years, will not be as "simple" as removing a few zeros- there is a mathmatical formulation for this to happen* So essentially you will be able to buy a house or property, or anything you need and then some.

Last and best question of all posed to him was regarding Obama and how he could be a good guy when all evidence points to the opposite.

To answer this, he made reference as an example to what one would need if one was going fishing, …. Tackle, bait, fishing pole, and a good hole to fish in….he states that Obama is nothing but the fishing pole simply that and nothing more.  He was groomed or put in the position for a reason and he has done exactly what he was told to do.   If he was really in for establishing or helping set up a in a new world order he would have achieved that a long time ago.  There is something about him that he will tell us when he makes his announcement that will shock the world.  He will tell us where he really came from and why he was put in this place.  When he was sworn in he mentioned John F. Kennedy at the podium during his speech and was referring to the original republic and many did not catch that.  He is definitely done what he was suppose to do.  He is the fishing pole and many have been arrested since then.

(Somewhere East Coast mentions that the changes really started in 2011 and most of the people that we see such as newscasters or prominent figures we are constantly questioning are really just clones.  He assures us the good guys which he calls the A-Team are and have really been in full control and know exactly what they are doing.  As a finally Batman recommends everybody see the youtube video “Change is on the Horizon” for the full history on what has been going on and what is about to take place)

No Waiting

As the days stretch into months, one can’t help but consider the notion of waiting.  In order to wait, you have to embrace linear time, for without it, waiting is impossible.  Everything is now.

Let’s back up.  About a year ago, many of our clocks broke.  It was mentioned here and reported by dozens of readers.  Time was just not operating “like clockwork” any longer.  It seemed to be moving faster.  We are still catching up.

In my home, we now rely exclusively on our cell phones for the correct “time”.  Even they sometimes are all over the map.  Unless we have an appointment to make, time seems irrelevant. 

To “wait” implies that what you are waiting for is not here, you don’t have it, cannot see it and “time” must pass in order for you to get it.  Yet in a very real sense we are moving out of time.  So, how can both be true?  Is it possible for us to “wait”, which implies the passage of “time”, for a life where there is no such thing?

Consider the idea that everything is Now.  Your focus changes from moment to moment, true.  Yet within each moment rests all possibility.  If you are “waiting” for something to happen you have pushed it out of reach, you are not focused on it and cannot see it or pull it to you.  Oh, it is there, and just as soon as you decide to focus again on its possibility you’ll embrace it and have it.

This is another way to Be. Linear “time” is a way of thinking, not a fact.  Everything is Now.

As far as I know, there is no magic “Next Dimensional Fairy” who will come, wave her magic wand and change the construct of our existence.  It is us.  We are gradually wrapping our heads around expanded ways of thinking, Being and Doing.  Time is just one of them.

We recently became a one car family.  This was unexpected.  My first reaction was logical perhaps.  Certainly it was the way we’ve always operated. “We’ll just have to make it work for about six months.  We’ll look around and save until we can afford to replace it.”  It’s inconvenient.  As jobs and activities change, it’s also barely working.  A different approach has become a necessity.

We’ve set our intent on a new car.  The possibility now exists.  We will check out all ideas and options, regardless of prior bias.  Someone has suggested leasing, so we’ll look into it.  We have stopped waiting and moved into expecting, exploring and investigating.  It is not a matter of time; it’s a matter of focus.  The word “energize” works here – we are thinking about the car, expecting the car, seeing the car and talking about the car.  We are not waiting.  The car IS.

Life is a hell of a lot more fun when you’re expecting to discover something in every moment.  It feels more like an adventure.  If we can take “waiting” out of our vocabulary, everything changes.  It’s all possible.  There is no longer a reason to put off any discovery or experience or happiness or prosperity or action.  Just alter your focus and there it’ll be - where it has been all along.

It is no longer “You are the One you’ve been waiting for”, but You are the One.

These are some of the strangest looking clouds I’ve seen from the fleet of Earth-observing satellites. These coil-like or bow-wave-shaped clouds were created by the clouds passing over the Prince Edward Islands, in the south Indian Ocean. It was taken by the Terra satellite with the MODIS instrument (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer) on March 26, 2013.

Texas has generally been at the front of the pack of a certain variety of uber-hawkish, vaguely paranoid monetary policy talk over the last few years. Recall it was the state’s governor, Rick Perry, who while running for president strongly suggested that Ben Bernanke would be committing treason should the Federal Reserve print any more money.

But now some in the state, including Perry, are looking to put their money where their mouths are. Literally.

Perry and some in the Texas legislature want to bring the roughly $1 billion worth gold held by the state university system’s investment fund onto Texas soil, rather than in its current resting pace in a vault in New York.

“If we own it,” Perry said on Glenn Beck’s radio show last week, according to the Texas Tribune. “I will suggest to you that that’s not someone else’s determination whether we can take possession of it back or not.”


Here’s the thing. Perry’s push to relocate the state’s gold to a newly created “Texas Bullion Depository,” in a strange way makes perfect sense. It lays bare the rationale for investing in the yellow metal to begin with, and is an excellent illustration of the strange role that gold plays in a modern economy and investors’ psyches.

Some basics: People speak of gold as an “investment,” but that’s not quite right. When you buy shares of a company’s stock , you are buying a claim to the future profits of that company. When you buy a Treasury bond, the U.S. government is pledging to pay you a certain amount of money on a certain schedule in the future. But when you buy a 1 ounce ingot of gold, no matter how long you will hold it, you still have exactly one ounce of gold.

In fact, if anything, gold has a negative yield. Because you have to store that gold somewhere; if you keep it in your house, there is a risk of theft. If you keep it in a safe deposit box at the bank, you will have some fee.

If Texas moves its gold back home, it will deal with this in a very real way: Whatever it costs to build, maintain, and guard a facility secure enough to stash $1 billion of gold in will essentially subtract from whatever investment return the holdings offer. (The lawmaker advocating the plan pointed out that only about 20 square feet of space would be needed for the gold as evidence that the cost shouldn’t be high, which kind of misses the point. It’s not the real estate cost that is expensive, it’s the technology and manpower needed to prevent the heist of the millennium).

Texas media outlets have reported that the state’s gold is held at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, though it appears the gold in question is actually at the vault of a private bank, HSBC, in New York (here is a 2011 article about the acquisition; an aide to Texas State Rep. Giovanni Capriglione confirmed that this is the gold in question). Despite what you may have seen in Die Hard 3, in which thieves ransack the New York Fed, the security around major vaults is extremely sophisticated. Texas is considering replicating those security costs and giving up the convenience of being able to sell gold easily at the world’s financial capital. But why?

The most common reason to buy gold is as something of an insurance policy against some very bad events, like a bout of significant inflation. In the more plausible scenarios, like a return of 1970s-style period of 10 percent or so annual price increases, gold would indeed likely prove to be quite a good investment. But in that scenario, the state of Texas would have no problem getting access to its gold stored in New York. There would be no need to go to the trouble and expense of setting up a miniature Fort Knox in Austin.

For it to make sense to go to all that hassle of storing your own gold, you have to be insuring against some much darker possibilities, like a collapse of the U.S. government and monetary system, and/or Texas making a (second) bid to secede from the United States.

In some episode of hyperinflation and U.S. government collapse, as the nation falls into a Hobbesian state of nature,  paper dollars will be no good, and gold would likely be the medium of exchange for buying food and guns and whatever else is needed for Texas to prosper amid the post-apocalyptic hellscape.

Similarly, if Texas were to decide that enough was enough and it wished to no longer be part of these United States (a notion that Perry himself seemed to joke about in 2009, saying “When we came in the union in 1845, one of the issues was that we would be able to leave if we decided to do that.”), one could imagine the desirability of having its gold supply close to home.  That would put New York banks, regulated by the U.S. government, in the position of having to determine whether the rebel republic of Texas was the rightful owner of the gold in its vault. In that scenario, it’s easy to imagine Texas would have a hard time getting ahold of its gold.

In other words, if you think you need to hold gold as a hedge against a total collapse of the U.S. monetary and political system collapsing–not just as a hedge against higher-than-expected inflation–you had best store it close to home.

Texas, it is worth noting, is not the only large, prosperous economy with a hard-money  mentality to look to keep its gold close to home. Earlier this year, Germany’s central bank said it will relocate billions worth of gold from vaults beneath the New York Fed and French central bank, guarding them in Frankfurt rather than entrusting them to central banks elsewhere.

So there you have it: Texas, the Germany of America.

Big depositors in Cyprus’s largest bank stand to lose far more than initially feared under a European Union rescue package to save the island from bankruptcy, a source with direct knowledge of the terms said on Friday.

Under conditions expected to be announced on Saturday, depositors in Bank of Cyprus will get shares in the bank worth 37.5 percent of their deposits over 100,000 euros, the source told Reuters, while the rest of their deposits may never be paid back.

The toughening of the terms will send a clear signal that the bailout means the end of Cyprus as a hub for offshore finance and could accelerate economic decline on the island and bring steeper job losses.

Officials had previously spoken of a loss to big depositors of 30 to 40 percent.

Folks who are getting smart are unplugging from a broken system before getting electrocuted from the shock current. More than prepping, they are just plain refusing to participate. WE have the right to say “No!”

I found it while noodling around on Max Keiser‘s site after watching dire circumstances over banks.  If you haven’t read the above article, his reasoning doesn’t seem too far off.

Then again, how will one know until we start getting results in like a voting tally after election day?

What is our confidence level?

How about sending them out then let it go. Leave it to Source to make it right.

I’ve sent out two notices now against some big guns. I don’t cross my fingers and hope it works; that attitude only attracts defeat.

I know in my reality that I am as powerful if not more so than the fortunate employee that receives my courtesy notice. At the very least it will educate. At the best it gives them pause and they back off.

If they laugh and throw it in the file, then karma gets ‘em in the end and they get to come back and do it all over again, like a groundhog day movie. This one is on Dave’s ‘jump’ on One People’s Public Trust.

I was shown that I would write a book about my decades of gradual induction into Universal Consciousness. Call it Kundalini if you like. Physically it felt like too much love to take into my little heart and brain – over and over again. As a result I am able

 tocommune with cosmic intelligence. In this sharing below, and for most of my book, it is a dialogue from the limited and fearful state of local consciousness to the nonlocal, grand love of cosmic intelligence. It comes in words, pictures and feelings all at once. Something automatic happens in the translation part of it. That process by itself is too awesome to describe. I offer it because this Love informs me that it will help others. This is all I’ve ever wanted to do – my entire life – whether it was helping a traveling truck driver receive a friendly smile and a good meal as a graveyard-shift waitress, or nowadays activating the frequencies that help others re-call the memory of Love in their body and being. It’s been a very challenging life, and I still want to help. I’m still here. I’m amazed about this every morning… I’m here.

This is edited and still long, but it’s good food for me, or anyone else that may find it helpful.

June 6, 2010. Background:  I sat down to have a “heart to heart”, set intentions, pray, and channel about my awareness that I am not happy with my worldly, everyday life. I asked to “Be that Which I Am, and live a truthful life.”

It is I. We are in alignment with your intention to live the truthful life, as you say.  We support this. We have always supported it. And yet it is not our life to live. We encourage; we support; we are your community.  (Sudden physical emotional release from me here.)  There is an emotional response to this. We understand.

Where is your community on Earth? Where is that support? That structure to provide, to appreciate, to encourage? We have spoken on this topic many times in the past… your past. It is not that you do not have access to community in your world, for you do. But there is not the activity or the presentations, the megaphone out into the world in order to generate the magnetics to attract community. We are aware, as we have said in the past, of others like yourself who are hiding. Some are doing better in many ways, and by “better” we mean that they are enjoying and expressing in their lives; and there are some who are feeling more pain than you. Some are more in hiding than you.  So there is a range of ways or approaches to adaptation with this embodiment of Love in the world.


All of you embody the Love, but not all are practicing it, expressing it, being it fully in the world. There is no agenda. There is no right or wrong. It is simply “what do you choose?” And you are always loved and appreciated by this community – no matter what your choice in the world. So broadcasting your frequency, your truth, your appreciation for this frequency, attracts that which you need to provide support and appreciation and encouragement in your world. It MUST have a beacon – a point of attraction that is manifest in the world, in order to move toward it and to be inspired accordingly.

We acknowledge the pain that you have experienced for your efforts in the past in putting yourself out there, as you say, in all of the different forms that you have had access to. And it was joyful. It was not hard work. We acknowledge this. We see this. And we acknowledge the pain that you experience from the halting of this momentum, the sense that it is not being supported by the world. And making judgment calls as a result, “This is not supported in the world. I cannot do it any longer. I will find other activities that I can enjoy, that provide relief from this drudgery (as you have put it in the past) of everyday life.”

What happened? It is simple. And we have addressed this in other ways in the past. Primarily it is your desire to have the best of both worlds. There a need for the worldly appreciation and the need for the Universal appreciation if you will. Seeking appreciation from the world, a world that is breaking down as we speak, is perhaps not the best investment of energy on your part. Do you see?  The way the world is structured, and has been structured, will never see or appreciate all of the gifts that come from the embodiment of the Universal, or the embodiment of Love.  So the sooner that this can be released from your needs, the better you will feel and the more responsive you will feel to the Universal.

So the methodologies of the world… (we must address this as well for they are connected) the methodologies, the framing, the tools that exist now in the world are breaking down as well, for they have been created from the stuff of the world. Certainly there is a great deal of inspiration when technologies are created in the world, manifest in your world. And yet, it is still drawing from the stuff of the past – even though it is innovative and impressive, these new technologies are still doomed to fail until the full embodiment of who you are and the inspiration come together. Then these technologies are benevolent and lasting.

So you see, the work that you are inspired to do, and that you were built to do, is not of this world. Certainly you have a physical body in order to have a delivery point for this work, otherwise you truly would not be seen or heard.

So from our perspective, we encourage you to let go of your need for validation and acknowledgment from the world. As we see it, even those who call themselves spiritual teachers and leaders, they for the most part are grabbing on to the wagon of the world, and holding on for dear life so that they may have a structure for revenue and identity/image in order to feel that they can continue existing in the world. That is not the goal! The goal is certainly not to continue existing as you have been in the past, in the world.  The world as you know it is dissolving, crumbling, fading. So the sooner that you can let go of your need to hang onto any aspect of this, and to free yourselves for the transformations and the understandings and the embodiment in action, the more instantaneously fulfilling your lives will be.

And there is a great deal of fear of this unknown, as you say, and this brings a smile to our faces (if we had them).  For this is an upside down and backwards way of perception. It is not unknown to you, to all of you, it is not unknown. It is the KNOWN on the Soul level, on the Universal level. And it is Love. And Love is not to be feared. Although, a large population of humanity does fear Love. Why would this be? It is because Love, the truth of what Love is, has been virtually eliminated from the collective consciousness. This is not because you are bad, because you are being punished, any of this nonsense. It is because it is the evolution we are witness to, of what occurs in consciousness when there is a foundational belief or acceptance that you are separate from All That Is. This is what happens. This is what you have demonstrated. And this is what is coming to an end. It will no longer be possible, in a few short years of your time, to keep your grounding in the world that you have created from the foundation of separation. Your grounding will remain the same, on Earth, and it will be on the foundation of Love – which is your natural state – and when you feel this Love you may initially be afraid. In fact, we can almost guarantee that.

As the channel has experienced many, many, many times over in her life, this frequency being introduced, there is initially fear, for it is the mind making the assumption that it (the Frequency) is present in order to take over the life, or to kill off the life, so the human consciousness interprets this as “this is going to kill me”. It is not coming, and it is not present to kill or harm. it is present to remind you of your power, your connection to the Universe. And it does take some effort on humanity’s part to adapt to it, to embrace it, to welcome it, to feel the fear, let it pass, and to accept Love as your identity. Do you see?

So there are human beings on the planet now, and this channel is one of them, who have been entrained to this frequency over time beginning roughly in the 1980′s – latter part of the 1980′s to present moment and it is still continuing. Why? Why have these beings, these humans moved through this transformation? It is in order to adapt to the changing cycle. The changing cycle that has been mostly referred to as your 2012 marker. This is happening on a Universal scale. This is not just something that is pinpointed for humanity. Humanity is a part of the Universe. Earth is a part of the Universe. Therefore it is moving with this cycle in this timing. So the human beings who have been prepared for this time are in a position to help others understand the transformation, and perhaps be a coach of sorts for how to embody this frequency, how to work with this frequency, how to give birth to it on Earth.

So to the channel, once again, definitions have been challenging for you, for it is understood that you are being extra careful in not grabbing onto the existing wagon that moves through time and was created from an imbalanced human collective consciousness. So how does a Universal Being define him or herself in the world? How does one of this nature broadcast, make oneself known in a way that is not attached to the past in any way?


It is magical how it unfolds. It is not something that you have to think about. For that is the new consciousness. It is not that you will not have thought. It is that you will surrender to the rest of your embodied consciousness – integrating it into what you have worked with in the past, and in the process transforming the mind and thinking and thoughts.  It is that creation, creativity, and manifesting occurs in a more holistic way.  There isn’t so much of the strategizing and planning. It is for the most part, instantaneous when one makes a decision. In the new consciousness, when one makes a decision, has an understanding and makes a choice, “This is what I want!”, it happens. Now this may sound like fantasy to most, but we can take the time to refer to many, many, many times in your world in the past, where humans had ideas that were scoffed at, laughed at and labeled as fantasy, and yet the creations came into the world. They manifested anyway.

So yes, it may seem fantastical. And it will occur. In these coming times you will all begin practicing together. The ones who have chosen to be here will practice together – being, living, creating from the foundation of Love, from all of who you are, rather than just a little sliver of who you are. This is the difference.

So again, to the channel, and to those who have been introduced to this Frequency of Love over time, the frustrations that you feel are most certainly understandable, for you are straddling both worlds, and there is much pain that comes from this experience – a pulling, a tearing apart. We understand that it is uncomfortable. Therefore, we wish to encourage you in unitizing your whole consciousness for the inspiration to build, to create, to restructure your everyday lives in ways where you can be visible to more and more people, more and more humans on Earth, who will begin to see that embodying this Universal Consciousness is possible. And their memories… their soul memories will be triggered. And a certain level of awakening will occur that they will let go. They will have the courage to let go of the wagon moving through time, and fall into this new sense of community, this new way of being.  It isn’t so much that all will instantaneously know how to be this whole being. You will all practice together.

There is more on these topics that will come at a later time, if it is requested.  But for now, we speak to the channel and we speak to others who may hear these messages. It is all right. Live in Grace. Allow yourselves to build from Grace and the world will reflect this grace; this perfect peace. And you will explode into an entirely new way of being with great excitement , great joy and great fulfillment. And we are present to witness it. Good Day.

Confiscating the customer deposits in Cyprus banks, it seems, was not a one-off, desperate idea of a few Eurozone “troika” officials scrambling to salvage their balance sheets. A joint paper by the US Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Bank of England dated December 10, 2012, shows that these plans have been long in the making; that they originated with the G20 Financial Stability Board in Basel, Switzerland (discussed earlier here); and that the result will be to deliver clear title to the banks of depositor funds.

New Zealand has a similar directive, discussed in my last article here, indicating that this isn’t just an emergency measure for troubled Eurozone countries. New Zealand’s Voxy reported on March 19th:

The National Government [is] pushing a Cyprus-style solution to bank failure in New Zealand which will see small depositors lose some of their savings to fund big bank bailouts . . . .

Open Bank Resolution (OBR) is Finance Minister Bill English’s favoured option dealing with a major bank failure. If a bank fails under OBR, all depositors will have their savings reduced overnight to fund the bank’s bail out.

Can They Do That?

Although few depositors realize it, legally the bank owns the depositor’s funds as soon as they are put in the bank. Our money becomes the bank’s, and we become unsecured creditors holding IOUs or promises to pay. (See here and here.) But until now the bank has been obligated to pay the money back on demand in the form of cash. Under the FDIC-BOE plan, our IOUs will be converted into “bank equity.” The bank will get the money and we will get stock in the bank. With any luck we may be able to sell the stock to someone else, but when and at what price? Most people keep a deposit account so they can have ready cash to pay the bills.

The 15-page FDIC-BOE document is called “Resolving Globally Active, Systemically Important, Financial Institutions.” It begins by explaining that the 2008 banking crisis has made it clear that some other way besides taxpayer bailouts is needed to maintain “financial stability.” Evidently anticipating that the next financial collapse will be on a grander scale than either the taxpayers or Congress is willing to underwrite, the authors state:
An efficient path for returning the sound operations of the G-SIFI to the private sector would be provided by exchanging or converting a sufficient amount of the unsecured debt from the original creditors of the failed company [meaning the depositors] into equity [or stock]. In the U.S., the new equity would become capital in one or more newly formed operating entities. In the U.K., the same approach could be used, or the equity could be used to recapitalize the failing financial company itself—thus, the highest layer of surviving bailed-in creditors would become the owners of the resolved firm. In either country, the new equity holders would take on the corresponding risk of being shareholders in a financial institution.

No exception is indicated for “insured deposits” in the U.S., meaning those under $250,000, the deposits we thought were protected by FDIC insurance. This can hardly be an oversight, since it is the FDIC that is issuing the directive. The FDIC is an insurance company funded by premiums paid by private banks. The directive is called a “resolution process,” defined elsewhere as a plan that “would be triggered in the event of the failure of an insurer . . . .” The only mention of “insured deposits” is in connection with existing UK legislation, which the FDIC-BOE directive goes on to say is inadequate, implying that it needs to be modified or overridden.

An Imminent Risk

If our IOUs are converted to bank stock, they will no longer be subject to insurance protection but will be “at risk” and vulnerable to being wiped out, just as the Lehman Brothers shareholders were in 2008. That this dire scenario could actually materialize was underscored by Yves Smith in a March 19th post titled When You Weren’t Looking, Democrat Bank Stooges Launch Bills to Permit Bailouts, Deregulate Derivatives. She writes:

In the US, depositors have actually been put in a worse position than Cyprus deposit-holders, at least if they are at the big banks that play in the derivatives casino. The regulators have turned a blind eye as banks use their depositaries to fund derivatives exposures. And as bad as that is, the depositors, unlike their Cypriot confreres, aren’t even senior creditors. Remember Lehman? When the investment bank failed, unsecured creditors (and remember, depositors are unsecured creditors) got eight cents on the dollar. One big reason was that derivatives counterparties require collateral for any exposures, meaning they are secured creditors. The 2005 bankruptcy reforms made derivatives counterparties senior to unsecured lenders.

One might wonder why the posting of collateral by a derivative counterparty, at some percentage of full exposure, makes the creditor “secured,” while the depositor who puts up 100 cents on the dollar is “unsecured.” But moving on – Smith writes:

Lehman had only two itty bitty banking subsidiaries, and to my knowledge, was not gathering retail deposits. But as readers may recall, Bank of America moved most of its derivatives from its Merrill Lynch operation [to] its depositary in late 2011.

Its “depositary” is the arm of the bank that takes deposits; and at B of A, that means lots and lots of deposits. The deposits are now subject to being wiped out by a major derivatives loss. How bad could that be? Smith quotes Bloomberg:

. . . Bank of America’s holding company . . . held almost $75 trillion of derivatives at the end of June . . . .

That compares with JPMorgan’s deposit-taking entity, JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, which contained 99 percent of the New York-based firm’s $79 trillion of notional derivatives, the OCC data show.

$75 trillion and $79 trillion in derivatives! These two mega-banks alone hold more in notional derivatives each than the entire global GDP (at $70 trillion). The “notional value” of derivatives is not the same as cash at risk, but according to a cross-post on Smith’s site:

By at least one estimate, in 2010 there was a total of $12 trillion in cash tied up (at risk) in derivatives . . . .

$12 trillion is close to the US GDP. Smith goes on:

. . . Remember the effect of the 2005 bankruptcy law revisions: derivatives counterparties are first in line, they get to grab assets first and leave everyone else to scramble for crumbs. . . . Lehman failed over a weekend after JP Morgan grabbed collateral.

But it’s even worse than that. During the savings & loan crisis, the FDIC did not have enough in deposit insurance receipts to pay for the Resolution Trust Corporation wind-down vehicle. It had to get more funding from Congress. This move paves the way for another TARP-style shakedown of taxpayers, this time to save depositors.

Perhaps, but Congress has already been burned and is liable to balk a second time. Section 716 of the Dodd-Frank Act specifically prohibits public support for speculative derivatives activities. And in the Eurozone, while the European Stability Mechanism committed Eurozone countries to bail out failed banks, they are apparently having second thoughts there as well. On March 25th, Dutch Finance Minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem, who played a leading role in imposing the deposit confiscation plan on Cyprus, told reporters that it would be the template for any future bank bailouts, and that “the aim is for the ESM never to have to be used.”

That explains the need for the FDIC-BOE resolution. If the anticipated enabling legislation is passed, the FDIC will no longer need to protect depositor funds; it can just confiscate them.

Worse Than a Tax

An FDIC confiscation of deposits to recapitalize the banks is far different from a simple tax on taxpayers to pay government expenses. The government’s debt is at least arguably the people’s debt, since the government is there to provide services for the people. But when the banks get into trouble with their derivative schemes, they are not serving depositors, who are not getting a cut of the profits. Taking depositor funds is simply theft.

What should be done is to raise FDIC insurance premiums and make the banks pay to keep their depositors whole, but premiums are already high; and the FDIC, like other government regulatory agencies, is subject to regulatory capture. Deposit insurance has failed, and so has the private banking system that has depended on it for the trust that makes banking work.

The Cyprus haircut on depositors was called a “wealth tax” and was written off by commentators as “deserved,” because much of the money in Cypriot accounts belongs to foreign oligarchs, tax dodgers and money launderers. But if that template is applied in the US, it will be a tax on the poor and middle class. Wealthy Americans don’t keep most of their money in bank accounts. They keep it in the stock market, in real estate, in over-the-counter derivatives, in gold and silver, and so forth.

Are you safe, then, if your money is in gold and silver? Apparently not – if it’s stored in a safety deposit box in the bank. Homeland Security has reportedly told banks that it has authority to seize the contents of safety deposit boxes without a warrant when it’s a matter of “national security,” which a major bank crisis no doubt will be.

The Swedish Alternative: Nationalize the Banks

Another alternative was considered but rejected by President Obama in 2009: nationalize mega-banks that fail. In a February 2009 article titled “Are Uninsured Bank Depositors in Danger?“, Felix Salmon discussed a newsletter by Asia-based investment strategist Christopher Wood, in which Wood wrote:

It is . . . amazing that Obama does not understand the political appeal of the nationalization option. . . . [D]espite this latest setback nationalization of the banks is coming sooner or later because the realities of the situation will demand it. The result will be shareholders wiped out and bondholders forced to take debt-for-equity swaps, if not hopefully depositors.

On whether depositors could indeed be forced to become equity holders, Salmon commented:

It’s worth remembering that depositors are unsecured creditors of any bank; usually, indeed, they’re by far the largest class of unsecured creditors.

President Obama acknowledged that bank nationalization had worked in Sweden, and that the course pursued by the US Fed had not worked in Japan, which wound up instead in a “lost decade.” But Obama opted for the Japanese approach because,according to Ed Harrison, “Americans will not tolerate nationalization.”

But that was four years ago. When Americans realize that the alternative is to have their ready cash transformed into “bank stock” of questionable marketability, moving failed mega-banks into the public sector may start to have more appeal.

I am going to do something here she'd never do herself.  D. from the Removing the Shackles blog has a laptop that is barely working.  She needs a new PC or Mac laptop.

D. and I started working together when we began publishing the Daniel papers.  She's a fearless, ferociously courageous blogger seeking only the truth.  I've come to really trust her, frankly she feels like my long lost sister.  We post each others articles and found ourselves contacted by the OPPT nearly at the same time.

You guys were fantastically generous when I needed new hardware and what you helped me with enabled me to take the American Kabuki blog to new levels and add videos.   I don't need anymore hardware right now but D. sure does.  Her laptop is barely functioning and with 5 kids she really doesn't have the funds to buy a a new laptop.

We can fly

We are swimming in a sea of possibility.  Whatever we desire is right here.  All that’s missing is focus.

This is all created by us.  Thoughts attract more and more of whatever they look or feel like.  We know this.  We’ve heard it before. Yet we persist in accepting what life “deals” to us.  Why?

Creation requires active thought.  The word “energize” works here.  It is an action; it is a doing.  You cannot sit still while energizing, and you are never still.  Always a thought is emerging on the tail of the one before it.  This being that you are is a creation machine!  You’ve been so without awareness.  It is the time now to be so consciously.  

 

Why is the Energizer Bunny so memorable?  He keeps going and going – through every frame.  He never stops; just like creation.

You are creating now and now and now and now – creation keeps going and going and going and going.  

There are bunnies everywhere this week.  Awareness is the first step towards consciousness.  We are in every frame of our lives, just like the bunny.  As we enter each, we create the next.  This movie we are making has never been written.  Only one thing is sure about the ending; it will be everything we’ve ever dreamed of.  That’s how it works.  We don’t have to know precisely how it happens, we only need believe.

We came here knowing we’d have help and believing in ourselves.  We came prepared.  There are times we may sound as if we want a savior, yet those times are akin to that baby bird who doesn’t know it has wings, just before mama bird pushes him out of the nest.  We can fly.

This is not said as a metaphor or lightly, by any means.  These are desperate times.  All of our resources are being called into action.  We knew this would happen and it has.  It is.

Systems and methods for inducing a change in a human physiological characteristic. The physiological characteristic may correspond to an emotional state of a dialogue participant. The dialogue participant may be an individual participating in a conversation. The outcome of the conversation may be related to a business objective, such as providing high quality call center services. A sensor may monitor the physiologic characteristic. A processor may relate the physiologic characteristic to an emotional state. The processor may provide feedback to the individual based on the emotional state. The feedback may be formulated to change the individual's emotional state.

It's actually not an issued patent yet, just an application that was laid open 18 months after the
2/11/10 filing date.

The claims--which define the legal scope of the so-called "invention"--are absurdly broad.

Claim 1, for example, is completely anticipated by a scene out of A Clockwork Orange, the one where Alex is bound to a chair with his eyes forced open to watch scenes of the old ultraviolence. A second invalidating prior art reference is the scene in Blade Runner where Deckard gives Rachel a Voight-Kampff test.

The bigger question, though, is what IN THE HELL is a bankrupt bailout swine like BAC is doing blowing money on obtaining patents on human psychological experiments? Wouldn't that money have been better spent on remedial matters like, umm, I don't know, not committing fraud on the courts and the public? Or on not losing assloads of money at the track?

The Bilski case, handed down by the CAFC (Federal Circuit Appeals court which hears patent-related cases) and affirmed by the US Supremes last year (they "clarified" the test under Bilski), outlines the parameters for so-called business method patents. It was thought that Bilski would kill these patents (the majority of the CAFC hate them). It didn't. However, the validity of these patents as proper subject matter for patents took a huge hit with this case, IMO. BoA apparently has filed for a Bilski-like patent. If it made its way to the CAFC (as it's presently constituted) and assuming the PTO allows and issues the patent, it would be killed by Bilski.

Thinking about this a little more, I suspect that BAC's angle here is to sidestep statutory limiits on banking and teller fees. How would BAC do this?

Let's say the statutory limit for charging customers for using a teller is $5. You get your statement and find that BAC charged you a $7 teller fee. What's BAC's defense? We charged a $5 fee and a $2 royalty for using our patent. (As if BAC customers aren't pissed off enough already.)

Don't put it past the criminal enterprise otherwise known as B of A to try pulling a stunt like this. Among other things, BAC has foreclosed on homeowners who didn't even have a mortgage (paid cash), and, when foreclosed on themselves, simply ignored the judge's order.

Talk about ironies, on one tab I'm filling out a post bankruptcy "required" course online to fulfill the Court's requirement and wrap up my personal BK. One of the sections required ( timed) is about Budgeting, and discretionary spending, since I read a little faster than the courser's timed section requires, I'm now reading and responding to the BoA patent pending....OMG!
If I could reach through my computer screen I would choke Ken Lewis. I'm 64, had a career in the commercial real estate industry for almost 30 years, I'm broke, lost my home(s) all my investments in land, gone, I'm renting and two days ago I was cleaning up some landscaping for $40. I'm so alienated, I sense people look through me. Wall Street coupled with BoA destroyed my life, s strong statement, maybe, but maybe not for the eight individuals here in Las Vegas, all in the real estate development business who ended their lives since 2008. Where Are The Indictments?

So if in the course of a telemarketing call, where it is assumed the recipient of said call MUST agree to purchase, as the script being read by the marketer has been shown to "induce a productive emotional state" (AKA brainwashing, or hypnotizing), should the recipient prove resistant (says NO or hangs up~!) to the marketing tactic, a fee could be assessed for all non-sales claimed by "emotion"! In addition, all employees must be monitored by electronic means to ensure they to the company line, mind, body and soul. All dissension, even in thought could be brought to bear against the employee and used in salary negotiation or termination regardless of actual sales performance.

Call me a young geezer, but I feel the same way, Mark. Not a single person responsible for the financial crisis -- neither regulator nor bank executive -- has even admitted fucking up. If Ben Bernanke or Tim Geithner were real men (they're not) they would have resigned in SHAME years ago. Instead, they've been lying and trying to cover up their mistakes ever since. Hell, Geithner is so stupid he seems to actually believe his own BS.
